Shawarma

Shawarma (شاورما) is a popular Middle Eastern dish made from thinly sliced marinated meat, such as chicken, beef, or lamb, that is roasted on a vertical rotisserie. The meat is shaved off in thin slices and typically served in a flatbread, like pita or lavash, along with fresh vegetables, pickles, and sauces such as tahini, garlic sauce, or hummus.
